Product Description

The naked in Naked Flex Mount means that you dont have to have a special bracket to fit your particular device. With an 11cm vacuum mount that attaches to the back of your tablet, you dont have to worry about finding a new bracket when you upgrade your device every 6 to 9 months as Apple and its competitors strive to have the latest and greatest designs on the market. The other 11cm SeaSucker vacuum mount in this package does what no other tablet mounting system available can do mount virtually anywhere. Do you want it on the countertop while in the kitchen? Your desk? Your coffee table? The sunroof or window in your car? The tray table in front of you on an aeroplane? The side of your hot tub? What's in the box:(2) powerful 60kg pull-strength rated vacuum mountsBlack or white 18cm Flex ArmZippered travel casePhone grip manufactured by RAM11 cm SeaSucker Low Profile Vacuum Mount with two stainless 1/4-20 inserts in the top and side29cm Total Height (flex arm is 18 cm long and includes 1/4-20 threaded studs on each end)Q: How strong are the vacuum mounts?A: Strong like bull. 11cm vacuum mounts have a rated pull strength of 60kg, pulling straight out from the centre. Pull strength on a shear load, i.e. pulling from the side, will be less. 15cm vacuum mounts are 100kg rated. Putting multiple vacuum mounts on a single product multiplies the maximum holding power.Q: How long do the vacuum mounts last before they lose power?A: Theres no set time limit on the vacuum mounts. It depends in part on the surface you attach to, the condition of the vacuum mount, the load you put on it, and other factors. As for surfaces to attach to, vacuum mounts in general were designed to carry big sheets of glass and other solid surface materials, so smoother, flatter surfaces are ideal. Clean surfaces and clean SeaSuckers go a long way to maximising the hold time. In any event, if the vacuum mount begins to lose some vacuum, it will warn you so you can get it back to full power before it comes off. The vacuum pumps plunger will extend from the pump cylinder when it starts to lose power, revealing an orange indicator band. Once you see orange, thats your cue to repump your SeaSucker. For car racks, the simplest thing to do is to check the rack before you get in your vehicle, and check it each time you stop for gas, food, or the bathroom.Q: Do I need to clean the surface Im going to attach my SeaSucker to?A: Clean off any surface dirt from the mounting surface before attaching your SeaSucker. While youre at it, make sure the sealing edge of the vacuum pad is clean too. You dont have to clean the mounting surface with alcohol wipes, as one overly-enthusiastic customer told us they do, but a quick wipe with a wet paper towel or napkin wouldnt hurt.
