These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes. Comfort: Our country walking boots promise one thing and that's heightened comfort for the wearer; to this end, we have included different ingredients in this boot to take care of your feet such as the EVA foam midsole and insole (ethylene vinyl acetate), or the neck of the boot (top heel section) which includes a synthetic foam for greater comfort when worn. We have also eliminated the seams in the heel area to avoid any discomfort. Resistant soles for walking trails: The sole's design is the result of long research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula which optimises grip and traction. We are always looking for the best solution to progress on loose or mineral (forest or coastal) walking trails. When used on roads, this can lead to the premature wear of your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for high mountain walking. What socks should you wear with the Quechua NH150 boots?: These shoes are slightly breathable but not enough to wick away all humidity created by your perspiration. We advise you to choose Hike 100 Low or Mid socks: they contain moisture-absorbing cotton and have a reverse terry-knit construction under the sock that wicks moisture away from your foot. They are also high enough to protect your ankle from the shoe. It is an excellent combination to reduce the chance of blisters.
