To calculate the charging time the battery capacity must be divided by the charging rate and so is dependent on the batteries you require. The charging rate for AA is 1.2v DC 1800mA (1 battery), 900mA (2 batteries), 450mA (3 batteries) or 450mA (4 batteries) and for AAA is 1.2v DC 900mA (1 battery), 250mA (2 batteries), 225mA (3 batteries) or 225mA (4 batteries).
