Its rich selenium content is a good antioxidant for the skin. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A clear to light yellow oil with asavoury or slightly spicy odour. If this odour does not appeal to you and you want to mask it you would need to use strongly fragranced essential oils. What we commonly refer to as a Brazil Nut is in fact a seed and it is the seeds that are pressed to give this oil. Use 1% to 100%. Oil soluble so cannot be used in water only products. It can be used in small amounts in water based gels that will hold it in suspension. Heat stable so can be used in Stage 1 (fat stage) when making creams and lotions. Brazil Nut Oil blends well with Shea Butter, Helichrysum Essential Oil with Lavender Essential Oil for eczema-prone and psoriasis-prone skin as well as anti ageing products. Refunds
