Product Description

The Treated Birdsmouth Post Knee Rail Fencing 100 x 100mm (4x4 Inch) is a durable and practical fencing solution designed for defining boundaries without fully enclosing an area. Traditionally used for knee rail fencing, birdsmouth fencing is ideal for locations such as car parks, play areas, pathways, open spaces, and gardens where a clear visual barrier is needed to prevent vehicle overrun or guide movement. Manufactured from pressure treated timber, these birdsmouth posts offer excellent resistance to rot and decay, making them suitable for long-term outdoor use. The fencing system consists of strong timber rails securely fixed to the posts using purpose-designed birdsmouth straps (also known as Bishop’s Hats), ensuring stability and a neat, professional finish. This bird mouth fencing is commonly used to construct trip rail and knee rail fencing, providing a robust yet open boundary that maintains visibility and accessibility. Its clean, traditional appearance blends well into both rural and urban environments. Available in 900mm and 1200mm height options, these birds mouth fence posts provide flexibility to suit different applications. Whether used as a safety barrier or a simple boundary marker, birdsmouth fencing delivers reliability, strength, and timeless design for a wide range of outdoor projects.
