Nose: Red currants, black currents, and raspberries drizzled with golden syrup. Soft brown sugar laced with cinnamon. Polished oak. Palate: Medium to full mouthfeel. Rich sherried fruits, full of berries and plums. Red apples and ripe pears bring orchard fruits. Exotic spice and toasted almonds. Finish: Medium to long. Rich dark fruit fades into a little warming spice that invites another sip. Overall: Another wonderful release from one of my favourite distilleries.
