Product Description

LINO by LANGYARNS redefines summer knitting. LINO has an innovative band construction that takes pre-washed linen to new heights of sophistication. This uniquely constructed yarn features soft linen fibres knitted into a lightweight band, creating a distinctive texture that adds refined detail to every project. The pre-washed processing ensures Lino starts soft and only gets better with wear, eliminating the traditional break-in period often associated with linen yarns. Its band structure creates fascinating textural effects while maintaining the natural characteristics that make linen perfect for warm weather – breathability, moisture-wicking, and a delightful coolness against the skin. This remarkable yarn transforms simple stitches into elegant fabric with a modern twist. Whether you're creating a breezy summer top, a sophisticated wrap, or lightweight accessories, LINO adds an architectural element to your work while maintaining the fluid drape that linen is celebrated for. Each project made with LINO becomes a testament to thoughtful design, where the yarn's unique construction creates subtle dimension and movement in your finished pieces. The pre-washed quality means your garments will maintain their refined appearance and comfort from the very first wear, making this yarn a perfect choice for those who appreciate both innovation and tradition in their summer knitting. Yarn Composition: 100% Linen Length: ~110m Ball Weight: 50g Yarn Weight: Worsted / Aran Needle Size: 4.5 - 5.0mm Tension: 19 stitches and 30 rows in stocking stitch to make a 10cm / 4 inch square Washing: Machine wash up to 30˚C - wool detergent - no softener.
